Our team completed this £400k fit-out of the 4th floor office space in Middlesex House, Cleveland Street, London W1 in 9 weeks for London First whose mission is to make London the best city in the world in which to do business.
The works included a Cat B fit out of the 4th floor of Middlesex House, comprising of open plan office area with bespoke felt screens to sub divide floor areas, break out areas with butchers type sliding felt screens, meeting rooms with bespoke ceiling feature lighting and highly colourful system partitioning, the entrances to the meeting rooms were formed out of exposed beech ply tunnels with plasterboard shrouds and concealed coat cupboard with secret door, a new communications room with dedicated power and rack mounted UPS units was formed.
There is also an enclosed phone booths with secret door within the ply lining; boardroom with feature ceiling rafts and lighting and a specialist AV wall; high spec bespoke joinery tea points were formed with specialist tiling, a specialist light oak timber floor was installed to the reception area and boardroom with an inlayed rug with the timber floor and joints running up and over the bespoke timber reception desk; specialist lighting was installed throughout the reception with a bespoke bamboo ceiling raft and light fittings above the reception meeting room table.
Significant mechanical and electrical services modifications were undertaken to the base building systems to suit the new layouts to provide additional fresh air and cooling with new underfloor power busbar system and CAT 6 Data Cabling installed throughout. The installation has been carried out to a very high quality due to the services being left exposed.
The partitioning system to the offices and meeting rooms is a unique iwall system and is vibrantly coloured to match the interior design concept. The tea point and kitchen area had bespoke joinery units shrouded within a plasterboard surround with Domus tiling to the walls with a vinyl floor, white goods and Zip tap were installed with all associated services taken back to the landlords risers.
