White Box Fit Out

New M&E

Cultural Space

With a primary focus on completing the project within a tight timeframe, the unit underwent significant upgrades to meet building standards and create a safe, functional environment that is intended to support the work of Future City, a cultural placemaking agency that integrates art within urban environments.

To save time and resources, existing features such as the raised access floor, kitchenette, and toilets were retained and modernised. These were complemented by the installation of new vinyl flooring, lighting, and upgraded safety, security, and fire alarm systems, as well as new heat recovery ventilation.

A new DDA ramp was fitted to ensure inclusivity, and the exterior was also refreshed with cleaning, pest-control netting, and subtle enhancements.

By focusing on efficiency, adaptability, and meeting the project’s tight deadline, the space is now ready to support artistic expression and community engagement in one of London’s most thriving neighbourhoods.
