Delivered through a competitive tender, this six-floor refurbishment reimagined the building from the ground up- from a complete strip-out to full Cat A and Cat B works, carefully balancing cutting-edge design with functional performance. Every element of the project was considered not just to provide a workplace, but to create an environment that reflects Armada’s creative energy and global reputation.

Structural works were undertaken to raise the reception to ground floor level. The original entrance was located at basement level via a courtyard, but this was reconfigured to create a new street-facing entrance on Old Street, providing a much grander and more prominent arrival point.
The external façade was elevated with new windows and low-level cladding, further enhancing the building’s street presence and aligning with the reception’s new role as an immersive brand experience.
Inside, visitors are welcomed into a space featuring state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, a DJ booth, and beautifully crafted joinery, including a concrete feature desk embedded with crushed vinyl records, champagne fridges, and acoustics engineered to deliver a nightclub-style atmosphere.

At basement level, we facilitated the construction of world-class recording studios - acoustically engineered to industry-leading standards and supported by the installation of state-of-the-art AV technology. Located in the cultural hub of Hackney, this destination address within London’s Tech City has been delivered to a standard that has left the client extremely pleased -
